I always forget that a blog is best used for promo, I was reminded of it when I was looking at Josh Holinaty’s blog. I’m in an amazing poster show at Latitude 53 curated by Gabe Wong. I’m quite proud to be apart of it and also honoured since I’m the only photographer among illustrators. If you are in the Edmonton area go see it, you will not be disappointed. Go get yourself the April issue of Avenue. I’m super excited on how it turned out, but with the amazing team I had it was hard to not shoot anything good. Great work Court, Steph, Rodrigo, Jared, Nicole, Kirsten, Nina, and Jan.

Stayed out a little too late after the AMPA gala and woke up with an annoying hangover (maybe don’t drink so much draught at a place where the floor is covered in peanuts). Had to cancel lunch with my new favourite photo duo Wilkosz + Way due to headache and nausea, luckily they are pretty understanding

Went to the Alberta Magazine Publishers gala on Thursday night where I was awarded this gem. Hard to believe I actually won an award for photography, I’m pretty proud of it. Never thought I’d be able to put “award winning” on my CV.
Huge props and thanks to Kim Larson who cleaned up on the awards that night, she deserves all of them.
Off to Calgary on Thursday. One of the most boring drives ever as you can see by this lovely winter landscape, CBC podcasts made the trip a little more bearable, also cruise control, kinda wish I could put a club on the steering wheel and nap in the backseat.
